The body is quite short and quadratich.
Well, that's just my humble opinion.

The body is Rarity's transformed mech. It kinda folds in on itself.

I think it should be better if it would be more thin.
It will make mech looks higher and feminine, if all (CONFOUND THESE) PONIES (THEY DRIVE ME TO DRINK) are females.

Seeing comments re: GaoGaiGar, makes me think Fluttershy needed to be one of the arms (the Protect side, to offset the Destruction side). Both arm-characters are the sort to charge straight ahead at the opponent and all that. (my first thought on Dash being an arm with the tail/shield? Murusame Sword.)
But it's a pretty epic piece nonetheless, however old it might be. One can never have enough super robot in their diet.

Do you have the original drawings of the ponies, before you out them together with the robot over them? I really would like to see a bigger version of Twilight and Rainbow Dash with these expressions! (in fact, I'm using only the Rainbow Dash as my wallpaper right now, lol)

Not sure how I feel about this. I've watched Power Rangers: The Ranger in the middle is always the second-in-command, so s/he gets plenty of authority (because the leader always gets abducted to provide a plot device), but in combat, the chestpiece doesn't do anything. She just sits there while the others fight and she looks badass.

And if it makes you feel better the robot isn't a reference to the Megazord. No matter how many comments say otherwise.
