I was completely in love with Alyn's planetary work and even he is somewhat bowing down to your work! lol These are fucking great! I could only dream of creating pieces like this! I love how you actually got some city'ish texture to your land masses!

The big planet looks fantastic, a very beutiful texture you put together. Though the lighting on the big planet seems more lit than the small one. But still nice overall !

Wow, this is amazing PhotoShop work - it makes me wonder how you did it (I think I would definitely take a look at that tutorial if you made it ). The wonderful detail to the land beneath the clouds, the colours and shapes, the scope... Marvelous! The Earth looks simply flawless - if anything, my only critiques would be the little star in the upper right portion - the vertical and horizontal lines look almost cheesy compared to the Earth and moon - and the texture of the moon - for some reason, though it is super-skilfully executed, it does not speak "moon" to me, but rather a more alien place. I'm not quite sure how else you could go about solving that problem, though. :S You are far more skilled than I. Keep up the beautiful work!

the textures are sweet indeed, and yes remembers me of earth alot.
shading is perfect on the first planet, but on the second u could have made the highlight a bit smaller

ur planets are surely geting beter and beter, you cant stop making me
only thing that really bothers me is that star with the four streaks, in the upper right corner.

Interesting, I can see you're getting better at it. A tutorial would be helpful to many people out there who wants to learn the tools of your trade. This would look great as a background for a sci-fi movie/game.

Definitely the most realistic-looking planet I have seen yet. Excellent work.
In the past, I have always found your tutorials to be very well-written and have always learned a lot from them. I would LOVE to see a tutorial on how to make planets like the one above.

The textures on this are uber awesome I like the roadways..but if there are more cities on the darkside wouldn't the light given off by the cities still show through a bit? Kinda like that picture of the western hemisphere in night where the united states is really bright.. I see a bit on the moon I think.. But maybe you did that I dunno I can be quite retarded sometimes
