I know L is one of the most overdone cosplays out there, especially when it comes to anime, but I think that's because it's the easiest one to throw together last minute for cheap. Which happens to be why L was my first completed anime related cosplay (4th in the list of my overall cosplays). I took L to the Bahamas with me, just for fun, and I took him to Bishie Con 2009 but those are the only two places he's ever really gone, save for a short walk through Little Tokyo I think.

I enjoy being L, even if he's overdone. Not having to wear makeup at all makes getting into costume as easy as throwing on clothes to go check the mail!

I'm not sure if he'll make any more appearances, but I'll probably get around to posting a couple other pictures of me as him. There were several out of this particular photoshoot that I really liked, but I think this one was my favorite.

This picture was actually taken by my father, who was confused as to why I was suddenly in costume as a boy, but does have a knack for getting some good shots with a camera.
