It's everywhere the same. Before I came to DA I've been member in the German Fotocommunity for 13 years. And in the beginning it was like you told. But now its to full with people, to much new picture like here by DA and so the time to really take yourself time to watch and comment becomes lesser and lesser.

You are so right, and I feel, that the people become more selfish from year to year. And there is even this big amount of information you had to handle with day by day, and on DA so much new pictures. Takes me some hours only to look to all my watcher ( must be now something between 150 - 200 ). That's the reason I like your gallery so much. With your preselection I had the chance to look to some artist I don't know and find a lot of interesting picture. Thank you for this
