He is amazing. His colour is similar to those of the frog family that exude poison from their skins. A bit like the pigmies who use poison darts for hunting AND to kill any humans invading their space.
You have captured the blue tones perfectly and the spots so dark appear as holes in the body. All in all I can imagine you are very pleased with this photo....through glass is so difficult.
Looking in I see those feet and splayed fingers like aliens from the dark side. Kindness Mandy

Thank you. You're right, I'm happy to have some few pictures of this day in the reptile house of the Zoo. 80% are not showable. And for this it took some time of edit work that it looks reasonable.

Andy and I have a very good friend . His name is Steven and he was an Industrial Designer in partnership with Andy who was an Industrial Designer. Steven always told me to take 10 pictures of one item and then you will get one that is ok......for one photo that is good you throw away 9 instead of trying to make them good.
I tend to work with this in mind and I was surprised to see it work

You're right, but I'm a old school photographer and grow up with photography when films and pictures has been expensive. So I learned to be very careful with using the stuff. Nowadays It's easier with digital photography but I still don't do more than 2-4 shots. Sometime one. Old habits don't change very easy

Yes, I agree.........Steve was old school too and retired when Digital came in cos he believed he wouldn't be able to learn a new skill. I'm like you, I tend to take as few as possible because I can see something else in my eye that I want to move on to. .........I must day digital is amazing...

Normalerweise mag ich Frösche. Aber ich hasse diese Pfeilgiftfrösche. Zum Glück erkennt man die sehr gut durch die Farbe.
