The old Lady of the channel ferries. Built 1991 for a Belgium company, several time sold and renamed. Now operating for DFDS between Calais and Dover. With her length of 164m she can load 700 vehicles and cross channel with a max. speed of 21 knots ( 24 mph or 39 km/h )Related content

The original name was the Prins Filip and the Belgian company was RMT. Sad to see how it looks like now

It's now 25 years old, and it passed through I think 7 or 8 hands. It's like with us, if you have a life with lots of changes it's also to see in man faces.

Beautiful! I like ferries, my province British Columbia is actually home to the second largest ferry system in the world.

I like them too, I think I should have some 50 different ferries captured in GB and at other places.

I plan to upload them, but slowly not all at once. I've also a picture of the channel hovercraft, and I traveled twice ( or should I say fly ) with it.
