It is a stunning structure (as are all of the structures that Eng Eiffel built)... I have been lucky enough to see some of his bridges in Europe and Africa as well - they are all amazing in their detail; all built from cast iron (not high tensile steel) with hot riveted joints (not a bolt was used) and no need for excessive corrosion protection or stress relief.... He did a fabulous job with a very basic material!!!

Takes some 7 hour with the car, all less than 10 hour drive for me is close, could be done in a day
