This is the character select portrait of Ryu for the upcoming Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix game coming out on XBox Live and the Playstation network.
It's been quite a while since we've talked about the Street Fighter II HD project. Finally Capcom has an update on the game and you can check out all the details HERE .
In addition, Capcom has also announced a Beta version of the game that you can participate in if you purchase Commando 3 coming out on XBox Live.
We'll have more artwork (and hopefully a release date) for you soon.

I am definitely liking the new look. It is staying more true to the original look now and still keeps that 3rd Strike feel to it. I think you guys made a good decision by doing this. I never really had much of a problem with the orginal route you guys took, but after seeing it revised makes it seem make more sense.
Keep up the good work Udonr Crew, I know it's been a long process, but I'm sure it'll be worht it in the end despite some of the negative feedback on the game.

How do you feel about King of Fighters 12? they're doing the HD hand drawn animation stuff as well.

King of Fighters 12- Dude that game looks like total Freshness....fresh new LARGE sprites (also look like high res), and silk smooth animation..KOF 12 is gonna be big
checked out the HD remix on Gamespot- great Job as usual guys, I wish this was made years ago....too bad it wasnt for SF3- the UDOn artists are doing an excellent job ......

Dude, they're not using sprites, they HAND DREW enverything, according to one guy in SNK each frame tooka DAY to complete, it's going to be quite an interesting sight indeed.
BTW, You're art is incredible and I am definitely going to watch you, you combine some of my favourite things (SNK,Gunstar Heroes, and MEGAS XLR) into one delicious package, I look forward to seeing what other great stuff you come up with next!
