Actually, Warzard was released in North American arcades in extremely limited quantities as Red Earth ( [link] ). Warzard was extremely popular in Japan, but not popular in North America by players because it was strictly a one-player game, nor by arcade operators because of the high expense of the arcade machine and the fragility of its software.
