In the spirit of our older Shooters cover piece , Gamepro magazine asked us to illustrate a brand new cover image for their August 2007 issue.
This time it's a combination of Metroid, Assassin's Creed and Metal Gear Solid. Enjoy!

Love this. I've had Assassins Creed on pre-order for, oh, atleast 7 months now, and am still in anticipation. Although I was never too huge into Metroid, my boyfriend was, and I was a big time player of Metal Gear. Loved Snake Eater. Well, wonderful work, and an instant fave.

He actually purposefully removed his ring finger on that hand in order to become an Assassin. It's intentional and part of the video game's story.

Metroid Prime hero are silent killer (like assassin)? Snake and AssassinCred hero, yup, but I'm not sure about it.

The only thing I'd have to rant about, is that the characters don't seem to stand on the ground... just a minor detail in a kickass work though.

Really awesome! The dark clouds in the background give it a very dramatic atmosphere.
The boots of Altair (I believe it's spelled like that?) look very realistic. I'm not a great fan of games, but my brother is only talking about Assassin's Creed the last few weeks, so I know quite a lot about it.

Altair's left hand looks somewhat screwed up. I know he's missing his ring finger in exchange for a finishing spike, but the rest of his hand looks like Hellboy's stone one.

The blue in Samus' suit is mesmerizing... Altair looks smokin' hot as always. And Snake just looks plain awesome, dispite being old, he looks great in his suit!
His arm is a lil short there, tho.

Oh good golly gosh I can't wait for Assassin's Creed! I'd say the same for MGS4 and MP3, but I don't have a PS3 or Wii yet...

This is a wicked image. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. I like Samus's almost organic look.
I do have some comments. Snake seems to stand out way too much. His light source is coming from his right, but on everyone else the light is coming from their left. He just looks way too bright to be in the back like that.
Now I haven't looked up much on Assassin's Creed, but does his left hand look so deformed. It looks larger, strange color, and only have four fingers. Could be just me. I haven't had a good look at the main character yet.

Ohhhh, that's kind of cool. Sort of like why Kratos has white skin. I wasn't sure if that was a design aspect.
I'm still gonna wait to get a PS3 though. Price is way too high. I knew that price was really going to bite them in the ass.
I'm happy with my Wii. It's fun being able to stand and play the games.
Still, love your works and I look forward to the next picture.
