gosh i hope this isn't a duplicate. i tried to reply but the site was mean to me. here's my reply in case you didn't get it:
To promote the Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer movie, the #19 Dodge driven by Elliott Sadler had the Silver Surfer. There have also been cars featuring Spiderman and Spiderman as Venom. Mostly they will do a special paint job to commemorate a movie (cuz someone paid lotsa money to the sponsor), but they have been known to do special themes. Usually you can catch them in the Chevy Rock-n-Roll 400 at Richmond. In fact, a few years ago (not sure which year) the Justice League was actually a theme. Green Lantern, Batman and Superman along with 2 other heroes (don't remember which) were featured.

Okay I have to edit this. The race was in 2004 at Michegan. 4 heros had a car to themselves, Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman,and Green Lantern. The fifth car (Ryan Newman's Alltel) had the League in general. The Event Car also featured the Justice League. I am guessing that is why the artist did this particular picture.

Impressive artwork on the DC heroes, but the detail whore in my has an issue with the NASCAR imagery. The fenders don't really flare out like that, and Michigan International Speedway looks nothing like that. But otherwise a great picture.
