Fantastic work as always. But yes, there isn't too much difference in steps #3 and #4. Wish the begining was explained a little more n_n

Very nice. Curious as to what is used for coloring.

I really like this, how the drawing changes from the lineart to the colour version is really awesome

It depends on the project and the look our client wants the final piece to have. In this case there wasn't a need for an inker.

That Kevin Yan dude really knows how to paint metal. The sword impresses me.

OMG it's an actual fantasy character! I mean, a real fantasy character, where the creature is believable that it's from a different world rather than a pretty boy with dog ears or elves that look like my friend's Australian husband.

Nice!
Do Chris and Kevin work closely together? Or is there a cut-off when Chris hands over the lineart?

Chris and Kevin are in different cities actually, so it really is a matter of Chris finishing the line art and passing it off to Kevin to finish without his input.

I also love to see 'how it's made'. When I look at it it looks so simple, ...but it's not.

That chainmail looks so awesome in the end, the whole of it, it's just my brain remembers the wonderful iron smell of chainmail.
Damn that stuff is heavy though.
