I used to play that game when I had a Dreamcast! This looks very well done, with some nice shading going on and Ryu taking centre stage. I like him in SF, by the way.
I hope they do a Marvel vs Capcom 3, in 3D and it'd be like Soul Calibur, but minus the weapons. I hated Street Fighter 4, too.

Nice! Very nice indeed. Taking some of Marvel and Capcom's most recognizable characters to the next level. It's a shame you guys didn't include Cable and Ruby Heart. In a way, they were the true stars of the game.

i guess marvel requested wolverine/ironman/hulk/spiderman since they r the movie hits these day. i bet if captain america or thor movies were out we would c them on that cover

mm...hate to say this but i usually see great work from you guys and this one has let me down. I dont mean to be mean or anything ( also dont get me wrong, but i love your work) but this one just seems like a few things are missing. I think its something in the coloring. hm....something is just doesnt feel right. Only wolverine and a lil bit of ryu appeal to me.

lol..couldn't agree w/ u more. everything from color to composition is quite weak, not to mention the overall likelyness of the charcaters. spiderman looks the wierdest (just look @ him). like u metioned, there's usually great work on here. but if u r selling this stuff? BACK TO ART SCHOOL! ps. Ironman and wolverine look decent.

could of possibly be that this was an art piece that was rushed to meet a deadline? slack from the artist? IDK, but yea i think the composition of most of the character lacks action. Remember, this is a fighting game and theres a lot of action in it, crazy combos, and unthinkable character mash ups. I remember going to the arcade and spending hours there just playing this game and challenging neighborhood gamers and friends on it. As a fan, this piece doesnt do it any justice.

I own the game for PS2. Is it going to be a full port? I know some of the downloads take out some of the stuff on the game because it is so huge. I also really don't like the 360 controller for fighting games. SF4 was the balls on it, although the game itself was amazing.

Is a press release anywhere describing these new modes? Do you think it's worth the hassle of signing up for online and downloading it if I already own the original?
I am so tempted to bring a PS2 and MVC2 to the hotel for Expo this year, but thins usually get rowdy enough on their won lol.

Network play and widescreen mode... if those features are worth it for you, then go for it. From all indications the game will be offered for less than $20, so it's not going to be expensive.

I saw this piece of artwork somewhere before in a teaser site and I thought it was pretty outstanding.
My suspicious were right... it could only come from someone of the Udon Crew.

An awesome piece of artwork. Like how the characters are represented and how they look. One thing I noticed though is that the Hulk in this one seems to look more like the "savage" version instead of the "smart" one used in the MVC games. This is a great piece eiether way and I hope there's more promo art for MVC2. Heck, I'd love a full-blown comic if everyone could work past the licensing issues.

I usually love your works but I personally think that The Hulk's deltoids, Spiderman's head position related to the torso and generally Bison/Vega in the background are somehow wrong.
Especially Bison's hat, I think.

Great work, I think Megaman needs to be worked on though, for example, his mouth looks like Portia's mouth from the mighty B... ie. it doesn't look very normal or good on Megaman. >_>

Ooh, I have this on PS2 and love it! Wonder if I should get this one from PSN also, because it has online multiplayer. Does anyone know other improvements like maybe graphical?
