So, what if he's buff? It's called artistic license and it is "comic book/manga" style in which 99.999% of the characters are built like this. So, lay off and respect the skills of the artists!

Beautiful concept work, but I agree with the fact that the only neo a lot of us have known is the skinnier Keanu Reeves from the movies so to see this muscular version seems a little off. But nonetheless great worki ^^

I would say this fits perfectly with the uber-male style comics have been making specially since the 90ยดs, too much muscle, but hell, if it is a comic, it must have too much muscle to be a hero...

I think the tones on the suit are awesome but I'm not really feeling the design so much... I think Neo looks better with more of a thin, wiry build as his powers come from more of a mental, meditative place then a pyhsical, macho one.

one of the cool things in the matrix movies was that he was thin .. and at the same time had kinda of a superstrengh =x
