I love this rendering style! It's almost as though it simplifies the body into a series of coinciding planes. Very crisp and 3D.

I think I see what you see. There's no 'line art', no black lines that are pretty much standard in tattoos. Im not sure if that's how the character works or not, though, in other official art.

Jo Chen is awsome, too bad he doesn't seem to have a Devieant art profile. He has a real grasp on color and light and form. he is definetly an artist who has been drawing ever since was old enough to hold a pencil

I see her works on SF foil cover. Pretty awesome blends of brushes. I think it was done in corel painter. Yes? I hope she has DA account too. I hope she gives us some tutorials.
