You could control Ryu for the story mode, and Ken for the VS matches.
Controlled by the CPU were Birdie, Eagle (England); Lee, Gen (China); Retsu, Geki (Japan); Joe, Mike (USA); Adon, Sagat (Thailand).
Lee was also hinted to be a relative of Yun & Yang, but that must not be the case in the UDON comics, since Lee is shown alive here, while the twins stay at Gen's because they have no relative alive anymore.
