I bought the game yesterday after work and played for a while once I got home. I would totally love to duke it out with Vader. They made Yoda pretty "ok" I guess, but I wonder if any high attacks will be able to hit him?

I don't play beat 'em up's all that often so I might not be the best judge, but I enjoyed Soul Calibur 2 and I find Soul Calibur 4 to be enjoyable too. I guess if you like previous Soul Calibur games, you'll like the fourth one too. I find singleplayer to be a bit lacking though, but maybe I missed a mode or two, or maybe more become availble as you complete the existing ones? The characters are beautifully detailed with incredible lighting and shadow details. While the stages look good and are inovative, I still think a little more eyecandy couldn't hurt. But maybe that's just becouse I've been playing Unreal Tournament 3 too much?

lol Unreal great game I heard you can download other characters as well so both consoles can get both characters hopefully im right lol

Yeah, actually just minutes ago I read on wikipedia (bored at work, yaay!) that vader and yoda will be availble for download sometime in the future, needless to say, I'm VERY pleased. I also noticed that The Aprentice from The Force Unleashed is availble as an unlockable character. I can't wait 'till I unlock him! =O

Grab the console you want the most, don't let a single game pursuade you. I could affort the PS3 if I wanted to, but I honestly doubt MGS4 is worth paying $650 for.
