I dont know why but that reminds me of my marine that had 132 kills under his belt, him and 12 marines and 3 SCVs fought off a zerg attack of 200, My god he was beautiful lol

Not quite. I use marines for everything. Battlecruisers and cloaked ghosts on the front lines, and marines backing them up is a sure-fire victory strategy.

yeah they do kinda remain the back bone of the terran, unlike the zerg and protoss who get their major units later

Also, you can stack marines in a bunker, and you won't even need missile turrets.
