he was in deadpool

He's a mercenary, so he's basically the same thing Deadpool is. An antihero.
While Deadpool is a funny guy Taskmaster is the serious one. And they are friendemies as well, hanging out together when they HAVE to, and working together. Their dynamic works best on those times, and it makes for some comedy gold when they do, like an Abbot and Costello act. Usually trash talking each other down.

I really like almost everything on this cover; the perspective for the shot, the crazy-looking thugs about to get shot, the girl who is clinging to the Taskmaster for some reason - the buildings are especially nice, love that streaky, rainy paint feel.
But the gun-thing holstered under his arm is driving me crazy. It looks backwards!

i just got in a box of about 200 comics off my want list, that my buddy pulled for me from his shop (new dimension comics in pittsburgh, pa) and while sifting through, this cover was one that really jumped out at me. the shading and colors are so complimentary to this pic, not over saturated (except the neon signs which really makes them shine), the perspective is great (thats a hard angle to get right), love the texture on the green building on the left (the pictures left, not mine).
is this all digitally painted, or was it done , i guess for a lack of better term, manually?

I am a huge taskmaster fan and this is totally what they should leave him as, the orange and white old school that he was in sucks.
Your version is so much better and more realistic for a thief and a merc.

I wish they'd go back to that costume for Taskmaster. That old one they went is just too goofy for me to take him seriously. He also needs a toy in this version!
