From the art notes:
This illustration shows a translucent slime, almost like animated water, that has pooled on a dungeon floor. Tendrils of slime radiate outward from its body, following the contours of the flagstone floor. A tentacle of slime rises up from the creature’s center, coiling like a drippy snake ready to strike. Several of its tendrils have wrapped around a desiccated, mummy-like human body slumped against the nearby wall. Where its tendrils touch flesh, the skin appears almost moist, but everywhere else it is parchment gray.

Not the SLIME!! I hate oozes! They tried to eat my very first character! *whimper*
That said, this is great work! I really like the detail on the corpse, but my definite favorite is the ooze itself... looks properly goobly. Kudos for the translucency effect, too. That's hard to get right.

I like the glow on the ghost spirit monster slim....thing. The shadow on the dead guy was done really nicely. Very nice.
