i just noticed the rotation, the hands are made with depth i guess and the face with mask, or are the hands made with frame by frame animation??
looks really 3-d ish ^^

Yeah the face is handled using masking. No frame by frame animation for the hands, the positions are modified using ActionScript and when required the depths are swapped. The rotation of the hands still needs a little work but it will do for now til I get more time to tinker with it.

3D-ish is definitely what I was going for
