Build: In the medium between thin and bulky, Buckthorn is around the average in build- strong, yet no where near the strongest wolf. His legs are a bit long in proportion to his body, but otherwise unremarkable.

Personality: Buckthorn is the very epitome of an average joe- if he were human, of course. Buckthorn- known as Bucky to his friends- If he had any- is a hard working, hard headed wolf. He is curious, with little caution. A sense of humor is his best, and favorite weapon against other wolves- he takes little seriously, and even worries even less.

Despite his lazy nature, the wolf is a dedicated friend- loyal and ready to jump to the defense of a disadvantaged companion. Believing in a slightly skewed sense of morals, Buckthorn feels that a challenge on unequal ground is an invitation for him to jump in. However, in any confrontation he feels is evenly matched, he also isn't afraid to jump in and turn the table in his favor.

Buckthorn is not above death as a means to an end, and should a wolf stand in his way, he will use his cunning to try to put the other wolf out of his way- through subtle manipulation or otherwise, though his last resort is often a full on attack to the other wold.
Despite any lack of qualms regarding the death of other wolves, Buckthorn chooses to present himself as lazy and easygoing, even playful.

Pre-Group History: Buckthorn grew up in a normal pack- or at least, it was normal in his mind. The son of an alpha, Buckthorn enjoyed the perks of being such, including hunting for sport- which meant an unlucky lone wolf, or perhaps even an unlucky omega was sent out into the woods to be hunted down.

When he was younger, Buckthorn enjoyed these hunts- until one day the marked loner was a female. Once Buckthorn had caught up to her, he intended to finish her- but he could not bring himself to do it. Instead, he turned his back on the way of life his pack had instilled in him, and took the female, fleeing now for both their lives.

In the end, they were blindsided, and the female payed the price. Thoroughly shunned by his pack for his traitorous behavior, Buckthorn was returned to his pack as a captive, and released for the next hunt. Only by murdering a less experienced wolf, was he able to make his escape.

Now Buckthorn is intent on finding a place he can build a pack of his own, without such blood shed.
