Description
With the ongoing shortage of lifeguards at beaches and pools, many places looked for ways to enhance the ability of their lifeguards, and to make the job more attractive. One idea is to seal volunteers inside huge bubbles, which not only allows them to be in (or on) the water indefinitely without tiring, it makes them more exotic in the eyes of some, including the wearers themselves. Thanks to the bubbles being constructed from a combination of high-tech nanobots and organic materials, which give the bubbles a greenish tint, all nutritional, hydration, and sanitary needs are met without the wearer needing to leave their bubble - and some have expressed a desire to never leave their bubbles, despite not being able to change clothing while so encased.

Note also the handles on the underside of this lifeguard's bubble, they give struggling or exhausted swimmers sometime to hold on to.
