Cynthia (left) and Lusamine have been experimenting with various methods of capturing Pokemon. On this occasion Lusamine was testing a gun which would shoot bubbles to encapsulate prey in bubbles from which they could not escape without assistance, and only she knew the special formula required. In previous tests against inanimate objects her weapon had performed flawlessly, but when Cynthia 'volunteered' to be the test subject for the first trial of the bubbling gun against a living target, the weapon malfunctioned. Now both are trapped within the same bubble, and no matter how hard they kick and poke with their legs and arms, they are unable to escape from their unexpected prison, and neither is at all happy about their present predicament. Will Lusamine still be able to make use of the special formula to free herself and her unwilling bubblemate....?
