I created this artwork for the projecteducate contest "The Student Becomes The Master".
For the bird I used Erdbeerstern 's tutorial: www.deviantart.com/erdbeerster…
For the background I tried the ethanol effect from jane-beata 's tutorial : www.deviantart.com/jane-beata/…

I am a total noob at painting with watercolors, so this will be the first watercolor painting that makes it to my gallery!

This contest finally gave me the push to finally publish some painting

At first I intended to paint a robin, so I changed up the colors from the original tutorial, however it does not look like a robin, but still better than I expected
The background effect did not quite work out, probably I will try it again.
At least I did not destroy the bird
