The new year does not make so much change for me, I never make any resolutions.

I feel like I can make resolutions or change something in my life whenever I want or feel ready to,

but the change of the number on the date, at least for me, has nothing to do with that.
However, one promise that the new year always holds for me is the promise of another spring.
No matter how cold, dark and lonely the winter might be, eventually spring will arrive.
This photo with the sun breaking through and enlightening the snow kind of reflects this feeling.
