Water splatters with every step of the little boots.
Raindrops impinge on the hooded head steadily, but she doesn't care.

She just keeps on walking, though the clouds still get darker and the rain continues to fall.
Icy water slowly soaks all her clothes.
Her hands and feet grow numb, but still she moves on.

Eventually, the rain will stop and she will see the sun again.
She will still be on her way then to reach the end of the rainbow.
