The other day in class we were talking about moths and how gross they are.
I thought to myself, “yeah, moths are real gross…”, but I really didn't have a clear picture of what they really looked like.
So I went looking for images of moths and realized that they are not as gross as I thought.
As I kept exploring images of different types of critters, I found bees, beetles, butterflies, snails, caterpillars, and a few other insects and animals.
So I decided that I wanted to overcome my fear and disgust for these living beings, so I started drawing them. From there, this beautiful study of very beautiful insects was born 🐝
