I used to not really pay attention to dunsparce. There was a swarm in my diamond game. "Huh, I don't think I ever caught one of those." I accidentally made my scyther kill the first one. Then the second one appeared. A shiny one. First shiney ever. "Man, I knew my fist shiny was gonna suck..." Luxury ball (It was adamant natured. Kid you not.). A day after training (and some TMs), Lemonade was the powerhouse of my team.
Do not doubt Dunsparce.

Actually, it appears that I've already cloned it, and the clone hasn't been trained, so you would be able to train it yourself.
And yes, it is legit. I caught it a few years ago on Pearl via Chaining w/ PokeRadar.
