History

Past:
  Briscoe was born and raised in the vast city of Metasone. His family made up part of the middle class and did not struggle to keep up in the hustle of the city. Briscoe was always a rambunctious child with a vast imagination. He dreamed of finding pirates'
treasure and traveling on long expeditions to discover worlds unknown. With the help of his wild imagination and youth he traveled to caves and swam oceans finding relics of past explorers. Though all this really just took place in his backyard and during bath-time. His parents were proud to have such an ambitious child despite the trouble he got into for it. Briscoe was clumsy, often knocking down house valuables during his play times. For this he got scolded but was always forgiven.

  As he grew older he kept his wild fantasies about pirate gold and tropic islands but also learned to meld into the schooling expectations. He went through school easy enough, passing with exceptional grades. During his experiences at school he let go of his childhood ambitions and instead decided to focus on things substantial for his future. He decided he would work towards a job in law to appease his parents plans for a rather big future. After a few months of this he started to feel more and more down about life and realized he wasn't enjoying the path he had chosen, or rather the path his parents had. He quit his studies immediately and decided to be true to himself.

  He dreaded the talk with his parents to inform him of his decision but they were understanding and encouraged him to pursue his dreams. Briscoe decided he was going to take a year off from school to discover his passion again. During this period he spent most of his free time hiking the few trails in Metasone and gained a deep appreciation for the forests within the city. Quickly he realized what he wanted to spend his life doing. He decided he wanted to make an impact on Aivos and his plan for this was to become an Ecologist.

Recent:
   With his parents' blessings he went back to school and studied Ecology broadly. Towards the end of his studies he narrowed down what his work would include: terrestrial succession. His first course of action was to move out of the big city of Metasone and into the more rural area of Tratool. In Tratool he began his studies on the land and its sustainability of crops. He quickly became friends with another kolther by the name of Marmalade (owned by DracoFeathers ). He uses her farm for a place of extensive study and experimentation in return for useful information in how to keep her farm healthy for the future. He now lives in a small cabin just outside of Tratool and commutes to surrounding towns to carry out research on the land. He is well known by farmers in Tratool and is always happy to help them with their crops.

Personality

Briscoe is an avid dreamer. People see him as oblivious due to his tendency to space out on his current task; he has a hard time multitasking because of this. He is a man of grit and does not give up easily, if ever. Often times people will tell him he kicking a dead horse only to find him succeed later on at the task. He is persistent which, while seen as a great quality, often ends up getting in his way. He is quite and self reserved, until someone strikes at his interests that is. Once he gets going on ecology it is near impossible to get him to be quiet again. He is passionate about his job and ambitious about his path. He loves helping people but is weird about receiving help. He likes to provide for himself as it fills him with a sense of accomplishment. Overall Briscoe is gentle and understanding but can be a bit of a run on and a lot to handle at times. Once used to his quirks, it is hard for people to dislike him.

Reputation

As stated before Briscoe is a man of grit. He is known for being a hard worker and having integrity of his word. When someone asks a favor of him they can rest assured that he will not lead them astray or give up on them. He has great work ethic and will not stop short of his absolute best.
