... I had a wave of nostalgia this morning. I was going through my shoebox of drawings that I've done (for which I need a folder for '09) and I was in the folder for '05, back when I first started drawing... and I found this absolutely retched thing with two mermaids and... it was.. horrible. So I redrew it. They came out looking like lesbians (at least to me).So yeah. I was gonna have this side by side with the original drawing (where both had shirts >>; ) but.. the original.. is so bad. Plus I may end up colouring this. If I do, that's when I'll put 'em side by side.
I just have to say, thank god for practice. I've gotten so much better. And look, nekkid boobies <3

Yeah, considering I drew it back in like, '04 or something. Back when I had no concept of proper anatomy. Or proportions. Mostly proportions. The heads were GIANT =A= ;;
Maybe when I colour the other one (and have a scanner of my own), I'll finally put the old one up too, for comparison.

I don't mean to burst your bubble stef.... but I thought the chick on the right was a guy at first..... Maybe if they were a little less pointy...... and if the one facing us had that curve-that-counts-as-a-shadow/ defining line thingy (if you're confused I appologize.....), it might look a little less guyish.......
On other brighter news! The girl on the left is kicking though!!!!! I love her hair... and the boobs are absolutely cute, buy the way... they're small in a good way in this one, making her look adorable, and a little like the uke.

lol a lot of people tell me it's really hard to draw girls xD If I tried I'd probably make the girls boobs like one the size of the watermelon and the other the size of an apple

Boobs are hard to draw. Naked boobs are even harder =w= I much prefer drawing naked man boobies of the smexy and flat kind <33
I must admit though, that I've always been much better at drawing than most people, so when I actually started doing it a lot, I already had a basis of decent proportions and a good idea of where everything went and stuff, so when I drew the original, back in... '05 I think, you could definitely tell that I knew what I was doing, more or less.
However, you could also tell that I was a little tween who was trying to draw "anime".
One of these days, I should really do a time line showing the progress I've made, 'cause it's staggering. Even compared to stuff I drew a couple of months ago, I've gotten waaaay better.
