BTW, I got the IMRU? thing from the book by Julie Anne Peters' book "Keeping You a Secret."
Well, I'm not sure if it is from there ORIGINALLY, but that's the only place I've seen it so far.
I believe the main girl's love interest had these letters on the bottom of a plain black shirt, or something to that effect. And a pink triangle.
I fell in love with all of the small pride memorabilia that girl had.
And I had this in my head for months.
So this one time after school I was waiting with a friend for... I forget what. A ride? I don't remember.
I had new sharpies and I decided to draw this on the sidewalk.
Takin' a picture then uploading it here and then to dApride was the first thought that came to my mind. So I did. <3

All my lesbian friends thought it said imru (basically just say it how it's spelled) when I made a rainbow triangle button that said that. lol.
I sort of love that book...but it sort of pisses me off.

Well, I'm bi.
And the way that the main character, I forget her name, was fucking a guy, and then just magically lesbian. That's not how it happens...I know what it's like to break up with a guy, and then feel like I just like girls for a while. And that's called a girl mood. It's soort of like when you first realize you're not straight, you're making up for not knowing that for such a long time. Eventually, you just go back to where you really are on the Kinsey Scale, which for me, is liking everyone.
A lot of times lesbians don't want to write about bisexuals. :/ I can sort of understand that because I have a really hard time writing straight characters, but it's just like...come on. There are so many bi girls, it's just unrealistic to have them all be lesbian.
I love the book, though.
It was good that Cece wasn't really femme or butch, and that's a stereotype you see a lot in gay books.

Well I think she was with a dude because it was what she thought she was supposed to do. So she just went went it but probably didn't even know she liked girls. Maybe she was always a lesbian or bi. Idk.
To me it makes sense 
I liked the book overall. Even though I don't tend to read lesbian books cuz... well i much rather read gay guy books

ooh and for a Queer-Straight Alliance thing, i painted a white shirt and wrote IMRU? and a big pink triangle. Behind the shirt, i wrote a bunch of derogatory homophobic names. Kinda like saying "you say all this stuff behind me. but i'm still proud of who i am."

That's cool.. :3 I haven't worn any LGBT shirts, but I want to.. I'm just afraid of what my friends would think.. but if they make fun of me, the LGBT support group's got my back X).. it was great.. the first day, we were asked what our favorite body part was on the gender we were attracted to, and I shouted out "BOOBIES!" and no one really cared X3
