An example of my new "Song Based Blind Character Design" commissions where I am given a song by the client as inspiration for a character design. Then I sit down and really "listen" to the song and draw the character that forms in my head based on the mood, tempo and tone of the song (not necessarily the lyrics... although they do help inspire).Owner: Stygma

This is totally the kind of character I like! The mask, the glow, the patterns, the accessories, the torn out wings. There's nothing I don't like about this design! And the little fey dragon is so cute!

It was only a matter of time - such a tribal-esque tune is bound to inspire a design sooner or later. it'd already inspired a character of mine, but the point stands.
