Description
For round 1 of OC-trainingThis task is "Guess who" and other participating in the round to guess her profession, so those who know Ran-Qui please don't give anything away in the comments.
Granted... it shouldn't be difficult for anyone with a nerd card to guess her profession... so I also put in hints about the time period that she lives in, her species, and other things if someone wants to take a crack at going above and beyond with their guessing.

She is an Amaran Jedi, she is welding green lightsabers, so she is a master of the force. The emblem on the blaster is the same on Boba Fett's armor, so the guys are of Mandalorian origin, or at least the weapons are. And i believe the same emblem was used in the old republic. Let me know if I've missed anything.

I'll start with the obvious. Β She's welding a light saber with skill against multiple opponents; she is a user of the force. Β Green light sabers tend to indicate she is a Jedi rather than a Sith.Β
I'm on my way to see the new movie now so I can't tell you if the insignia on the weapons indicates that time period or not.Β
Her style of dress is not the traditional Jedi robes which probably means she is not from the period of the old Republic, or if she is, then she is an independent rather than a Jedi or sith.
Since Jedi usually forgo jewelry and symbols of wealth or allegiance, I assume her necklace has a personal importance or significance to her.

Jedi, yes.Β More specifically, she is a Jedi consular since her lightsaber is green.
She did live during the days of the Old Republic and fought during the Mandolorian wars.Β She is not independent and does have traditional Jedi robes, but she chooses not to wear them.Β Mostly because I wanted her to wear something more unique.
The necklace was given to her by a little girl that she saved and has rarely taken it off since.Β

Well she seems to be fighting nameless, faceless people who probably don't matter too much. And she's using... light sabers? I believe that thing in the corner is a gun pointed at her, but she doesn't seem to be too worried - just determined. Is she on some kind of mission?

She's got two green lightsabers. A green lightsaber suggests that the Jedi is a councilor. Dual-weilding suggests she's very disciplined and trained since not many Jedis use two lightsabers. But she looks very focused. I'm curious on her skill level with the force. Does she have an apprentice? Does she still train under a master? Or is she on her own at the moment?
Her race is like a fox. There is also a building in the background. Is she on a foreign planet doing a mission?Β Or is she on her home planet?
There's also a symbol on the gun, so I'm guessing she's fighting of mercenaries.

Yes, although I chalk up her dual wielding skill more to her natural agility.Β There's not much info about her species out there, but I do imagine them to be very nimble.

At this point in her life, no.Β But I do plan on giving her one when she's a little bit older.

Nope, she's no longer a padawan.Β Although she probably hasn't been a full-fledged knight for very long at this point, so I imagine her being on her own to explore the galaxy before settling down with a padawan of her own.

Amaran, actually.Β Although they are pretty much anthro foxes, and yes, her species does exist in the expanded universe.Β The SW universe really is fur-friendly

The building in the background is actually the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine as show in in the original Knights of the Old Republic Game.Β It's pretty much her homeworld, but not the homeworld of her species if that makes sense.

It does not look like Coruscant, so I guess Ran-Qui is not involved in βbigβ politics. People who she is fighting seems to be ordinary soldiers, so having a mission like this she probably Β has low rank within Jedi Order.
It could be only me, but replace lightsabers with any other weapon and I would not tell I am looking at Star Wars fanart. I associate Jedi with some Japanese inspired costumes that cover some more than breasts only. Garment that some part of is oversized (like this half-skirt between her legs could be). Perhaps Ran-Qui would like to have cool hood attached to her vest.
Regardless of this fashion remark, I admire lightning and movement in your art-work. It is enjoyable depiction of battle.

I liked the concept, a female jedi fighting all of those guys by herself, even wielding that dual lightsaber back-handed(never imagined that technique applied on dual lightsaber). Also liked the lightsaber effect too. And... is she a high-ranked one?

There's actually two that can be considered fox like.
There are the amarans, which ran-qui is.
And there are the nalronians, which I think look more jackal like.

Great drawing, so dynamic and lively! I think she is definitely a fighter, can't help but associate Star Wars setting with her light sabers. Maybe she emerged from some SW fanfiction? Since lightsabers are green, she would be probably a Jedi knight.

This character makes me want to think she's some sort of bounty hunter, jedi gal. Or just some lone wolf-er fox that a group of bad guys are targeting.
