Description

FULLVIEW, please, for better quality! Finally: this took me a little bit more then I thought - I just went tru a smol art block on which, I'm happy to annouce, I won. Idk what happened, suddenly focusing on the details to paint just helped me instead of stressing me. Completed Your Character Here for Ireiji featuring his boi Eiji (see the original design here! ) I did an alternative version without the tree and all the glowing sparkles, probably uploading later just for fun; also I'd like to say that the tutorial below was LIFE, because I felt like I wasn't paying enough attention to anatomy - and that helped me a lot to figure out the right ear shape! Please don't use this in any way, character belongs to @/Ireiji. Feel free to +fav and comment, any critique is appreciated and welcome, as ever!

Awesome scene! Lots of details and everything seems to work together!

One suggestion: When you add ripples, look at existing ripples in the image (such as around the rock) and use them as a basis for artificial ripples. This will help ground your character and better unify them with the scene, making it more believeable to the viewer.

Fantastic work! Thanks for using our stock!!

It's made in a 2 dimensional style, but looks so 3D and real when you see the whole picture, it's like an optical illusion, I love it! 😄

It's more like a slightly refraction effect, I recently discovered it and I like to add that 'touch' to my artworks! Thankies

A refraction effect? Dats weird, only thing I know about refraction is what I learned from Science and Forensics. The bending of light through a prism, I'm assuming the water functions about the same way?

Well, I followed a tutorial here on dA and they call it 'refraction effect' XD

But I don't know more than you about X3 Probably the water can act like

a prism for light refraction, as you said

Well, rainbows are a result of refraction so probably.

Love how you've made the background The photos are merged just perfectly! One thing I have to get better at - I usually take the easy route of using just one photo...

Anyway, love the flowers, the fur, the color scheme... The orange in the background really fits well with the fur! Love the fairy dust too

(And I'm quite impressed by the amount of tags you have )

I just saved the most used tag in a note and copy-paste 'em 99% of times, haha XD I'm lazy u.u

Do u really tink the pictures are well merged together? Because I tought the scenery was a little

bit odd, when I create a composition it's hard to 'unseen' how the original pics were so once

assembled they always look weird to me >.< Your opinion is important, u help me a lot to

be more kind with myself as artist and, sometimes, to notice what I didn't noticed before

(..remember the lake that should have been frozen? LOL! )
