i always wonder what that meant, but it's part of the charm... damn so many feelings and memories, back when in my country Mtv was cool and not a joke, and broadcasted cool anime xDΒ

ah also respect for Yoko Kanno, my favourite anime music composer along with Susumu Hirasawa (YAAAYYYAAYY FOOORCEEEES! xD) and, these days, Kevin Penkin (that man is a genius)

^^ and so darn prolific and poliedric! Just in the beloved Cowboy Bebop's soundtrack, she made so many OSTs in a so wide range of music genres!
Uh, just in case, throwing in a pair of ideas, I'd suggest you to check Shiro Sagisu'sΒ Β KAREKANO's soundtrack, it's awesome and so various (there are eve some pieces that are basically circus fanfares xD) and it's got a sick electric guitar (I think it's a famous japanese guitarist who in fact made a lot of collabs with Yoko Kanno too).Β And another suggestion would be checking Kevin Penkin's works, especially Made in Abyss's soundtrack. It's... I dunno, it's subjective of course... but I found it sublime
