I guess, you read Phaenomen from Eric L'Homme. There's this guy, Arthur, who always draws three monkeys: one with hands on ears, one with hands on mouth and one with hands on eyes. Do you read this?

no, the 3 monkeys (see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil) are originally a japanese proverb, I guess the book is based on this too
