A Paragon of the Hellebore people, Rythien is a major historical figure of ancient times. Not born of the High Circle (noble) class, she was still born a Suppressor -- one who was responsible for keeping the tethers leashed to the gate of Halja, to prevent the entrance of the Goddess of Chaos, Satera, onto the surface world, and was known for her outstanding work of compassion and camaraderie with the Ohdran (human) nation of Veltres, and its King, Lojen, at the time.The two peoples were at their closest during the time of Rythien and Lojen.

Haha, I think she's far too thick in the backside and legs, traditionally proportionate and not nearly cat-like enough to be Na'vi XD especially with all her digits intact!
Her outfit is actually based on an extrapolation of traditional amazonian costume, minus all the obsidian jewelery and gems.
And is her skin really blue for you? She's intended to be quite, quite purple-grey, with iridescent highlights. Now I have to wonder if my monitor is off D:

Wonderful. I love how you work - the overall shape is great and also the green gems that you have distributed all over her - they are so nicely contrasting with her basic colour and creat a special effect.

I'm in agreement with the other deviants here- she is beautiful, and her jewelry is exquisite, but she is most fascinating because you can't see her face. I also like that she's composed of muted colors, whereas her jewels are vibrantly colored. The palette conflict serves this piece very well
