And, YES, the piece is TRADITIONAL OTL|||
I hardly ever do anything traditional thus I'm not good with that, but it was ~tuchka251 who insisted it should have been done with watercolours OTL|||
So, in case it turned out bad it's her to blame XDD In case you like it though, say her a thank you XDD
And those smoky lines on the background are SILVER. But like hell scanner can show them glittering OTL|||
And those lines are supposed to symbolize the Mist XD

And geez, university is starting tomorrow =___=" Less time =__="" I think, I'm going to finish my art trade quicker and maybe won't update for some time after = ="

I think it turned out really well. You are good with watercolors! I especially like the contrast between the light green clothes in the foreground and the dark blue/purple tones in the background <3

This is FUCKING AWESOME XDDD I hate it when you say you can't colour traditionally, for you always outdo me ;_________; Your work is always so beautiful, this one, too. God, I am absolutely in love with it *__* Those colours shine so brightly and.... it is just so amazing o.o
There's simply no way anyone could do something like that with watercolours. Well, anyone except YOU. Obviously xD
Hell, I know how hard it is to colour anything with those stupid colours, you can't even use an eraser .-.

But really, I don't dare say I CAN colour traditionally as this is, like,..my third piece 8D and as there are LOTS of awesome works around and as I don't really know how to use watercolours correctly and blahblahblah XDD

And YES, absence of an eraser and of possibility to paint the picture over with whatever colour makes it damn difficult to work with watercolours OTL I guess, I'm just too used to digital painting XDD

Well, it DID kill my work either XDD
The original painting looks better, and I'm not the only one insisting that OTL|||
Though well, the scan looked pretty fine, but I used some colour adjustments in Photoshop (you know, scanner never shows colours as they really are OTL) and also I could advise to look at STEP 2 of this tutorial [link] ..It shows how to work with sketches but that trick will do for all kinds of pictures *A*
