Yea for Kitana and Liu, thats the way I see it.

For Smoke and Jade thats the way it is... no such kouple exist in MK canon. Besides, I'd have her with Lao for a time anyway...

I'm... not a really big fan of Kung Lao and Jade because.... I kinda don't like Kung Lao, Besides I like ninja and ninja kouples only.

I don't like couples that make no sense and/or does not seem likely...
I dont care for "Like pairings" EX: (blue ninja guy with blue ninja girl) seems childish to me. Thats what children want; girl bunny with guy bunny, girl mouse with guy mouse... childish, IMO.

Jade ans Smoke does not seem likely right now. They have never met, they have not communicated with each other, Jade will out live Smoke by centuries... of course both are dead as of now, but still...

Liu X Kitana works because Liu is champ and main hero, since he is champ he does not age/grow old and could potentially live forever, and he likes Kitana and Liu has done and gotten her almost everything should could want.

Kitana lives for thousands of years, Liu has saved her and her realm many times and she likes him, and they could live for centuries together in happiness, IMO thats almost a Perfect match(a little cliche, and fairy tale-ish, but perfect), which is why I favor them ALOT more than Kitana or Liu with anyone else.

No I dont care for Scorpion and Mileena as a pairing either. Scorpion is my FAV MK char, but I believe he deserves to be reunited with his Wife; Not some psychotic, deformed, slutty woman-child... also again, they have never encountered each other and I see no romance there. lol

I prefer 'Canon pairings' because they are created for a reason...and for the most part they fit.

Besides Scorpion and Mileena is everyone's fevered kouple. And I'm not saying someone like Sub-Zero and Kitana should be together (Besides I'm a SubXFrost fan) any way it is possible that Mileena and Scorpion could actually come together, maybe if they release a new mortal kombat game they may come together and no offence but fans like Scorpion and Mileena better then Liu and Kitana.

P.S. I also don't like Liu ether because he's such a jackass that takes up the entire spotlight in nearly every mortal kombat game. And plus in MK9 story line he tries to kill Raiden and in his MK9 arcade ending he becomes a tyrant.

No not really. Kitana and Liu are still the most popular MK kouple... yea, they beat out Scorp and Mileena.
It may seem like Scorp and Milly are most favored on DA and that may be true, but MKfans on DA is not even 1/4 of the overall MK fandom. From the overall fandom of MK, KitXLiu is the most popular and liked.

TBH, the MK fandom as a whole in general could care less about who is paired romantically...

Liu was designed to be the MAIN char from day 1, he is suppose to be in the spotlight in nearly every game, lol
Thats like saying I hate Goku because he takes up the entire spotlight in DragonBall Z. Lol, Goku is the main char of DBZ.

I would not call him a Jackass, Liu fought Raiden because Raiden was messing things up(which he was) and Liu lost his trust in him. I understood where Liu was coming from but attacking Raiden was a bad idea and unfortunately he paid the price...but that is gonna open up a new grudge in MK once liu comes back.

P.S. Im not a SubXFrost fan, I dont hate frost or anything, but I feel Subz and Sareena are better suited.

Every one loves Mileena because of how crazy she is and her flesh pit costume, not to mention the 'I hate teddies' where Mileena offers Scorpion a teddy bear, and don't just say that I was just a mini game because why else would Mileena do that for Scorpion? Huh?

Well your right about one thing MK fans can care less about MK couples, but still Liu and Katana are made as an official couple by the creators of MK and the LiuXKitana was kinda forceful to uncomfortable forceful. Also the main reason why I don't think Liu and Katana is because Katana is a princess and a ninja and Liu Kang is a shaolin monk that has no weapons (In real history shaolin monks did have weapons) no shirt and a pussy ass voice when he fights.... Doesn't really sound that intimidating dose he?

Also I'm not an idiot I know that Liu Kang was designed to be the main character in mortal kombat, its just that he's so plain and doesn't have anything unique about him (except that he can turn into a dragon) but what fans really play the game to see is Scorpion and Sub-Zero, and you can't complain about that. But Goku is much more different then Liu Kang, Goku is very a likable character and through out the series we will get to know him better and there for more people liking him, but with Liu Kang the MK fans hardly know anything about him except he defends Earthrealm, his a monk, his in love with the princess Katana and that's about it.

P.S. I'm just a fan of SubXFrost because of how similar and unique they both are, and not just pair Sub-Zero up with some demon that suddenly decided to pelage her loyalty to him.

P.S.S. Look up top mortal kombat couples and see it for yourself. And   Scorpion and Mileena could become a couple in the MK future.

Liu had a sword in MK4 and nunchuckus in MK...

He was made to be a Bruce Lee clone(if you dont know who Bruce lee is...well that's sad, but go look him up. Bruce did high pitched yells in his films... every Bruce clone does it.

I know Liu's char leaves much to be desired but that's the developer's fault... Don't hate the character, hate the developer...

Sub and Sareena go good because their chars compliment, IMO.
Sub and Frost is like big bro/bratty stuck up little sis.

I have looked it up and KitXLiu is still the most popular overall by the fandom. I would not say that if I did not know or was not sure. They even had the number 4 spot in top video game couples in a poll done not long ago.

I highly doubt it...

If it was just a 'joke' then why has there been so many fan arts and fan fictions of them being together?

Liu Kang gets killed by Raiden and in his arcade ending he becomes a tyrant, and you seriously think that Kitana will date an evil god?

Yeah but he still has no shirt, that pussy fighting voice and nunckuckus are some of the worse weapon's anyone could use, Kitana has FREAKIN RAZOR STEEL FANS!!!

Well I just see Sub and Frost as a very interesting couple, and I don't see them as siblings, I just see them as a couple.

yea, ive been REALLY busy for the past year, to where i haven drawn much fan art if any and this whole concept flew WAAAY off the radar...

i did do a drawing of the two ladies fused not long after this picture but i didnt like that one. i may go back to this...maybe
