No prob! That Superior Body Mold is probably my favorite Spidey! That figure itself wasn't that bad; had to get some custom kit to make him more 'comic book' accurate since Hasbro has their lazy tendencies, but the articulation, the scale... it's a pretty decent fig. It's that much better now that Pete is Back in Black!

I also like the new Spidey mold they got. Its pretty good, only thing I dont like are the hip joints(and its more than just that mold too) and I HATE doing surgery on them. But I hate even more to have an awesome spidey figure that cant pose that good, so I just risk it and luckily ive been successful most times...
I had to make a Black suit spidey in this mold, cuz Hasbro is fuckin around and takin too long to release one. lol

I know what you mean. These Spider-Men provided by Hasbro(and the Spider-Women. You know my pain when Jessica Drew can't do the damn splits in her figure form!) can't do whatever a Spider-Man does! Its blasphemy. I have yet to do surgery on any of them; never was a customizer kind of person. I just buy the kits if they are available and if they are hindered by articulation, I'm screwed. lol Hell, they can't even provide a freaking web line!
Took them "X" years to make a Freaking McFarlane Venom... honestly, took them THAT long to make a Venom, PERIOD! They made Superior Venom before! And then it took them ages to provide a brand new Black Cat figure! But Spider-Gwen and Silk gets one just around five years their introduction into the comic book world. Sheessh. I wonder how long I have to wait to get a new costume Jessica Drew?
As much as I love Hasbro, I hate them in certain areas. If Imports made a variety in characters and not just Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor, I'd probably fork out the cash. We'll never see obscure characters like Spider-Woman or Iron Fist on a Figma or Bandai line up though.

Well Hasbro likes to add old in with new i guess.
Still youre right though, It should not have taken this long for a classic venom. Both Superior venom AND anti venom came out before classic venom.
Yea Figma and Figuarts are going for what will sell, and Ironman will sell! And i cant even lie, Figuarts Ironman figures are TOP NOTCH! Only thing I dont like is that they seem alittle bit small when you compare it to Legends scale.

Indeed. It will never be a perfect fit with the Legends. If they were, it would be a perfect match up. And yeah, Iron Man figures sell; not only for the fact that he is a popular character, but he has so much variety! These eastern companies can literally milk every variation of his armor! Another top notch company that will definitely break the wallet are Hot Toys. Owning the Mark V and the Silver Centurion of the Cinematic Universe, I do say that these figures are the pinnacle of collecting--they just cost 3 sets of Marvel Legends BAF.
Another thing is that it's been a LONG time since we have seen great X-Men figures; and i know fox and Marvel are still having a heated debate, but I am glad that we are seeing some X-Men legends coming here. Iceman has been aching for one. The Rogue is good and I do hope that we get to see characters like Domino, X-23, Colossus, and Psylocke get their much needed rebooted figures.
Spider-Man is also in a great spot for figure variants. They could really milk the Spiderverse with the popular and even the obscure variations of Pete.

Yea Im not shelling out for the Hot toys though, lol that is just TOO much money for me to spend when I got OTHER collections outside of Marvel stuff that I build on: New and old DBZ figuarts every other month or so that I gotta catch up on, New MMPR Legacy Items, trying to get a hold of rare items I didnt get when I was younger, Lol
Hot Toys are too much, but I do think they are worth it though.
I just finished collecting the old marvel legends X men figures from the Jim Lee era. I NEED that new Rogue that about to come out!, The old one Toybiz came out with has a HORRID face!
And that new Deadpool ML. Xmen begs for new MLs.
I DO want Figuarts and/or Figma to pick up Comic Spidey. It would be the best Spiderman figures in a 6" scale ever.
Right now all we got is the new Pizza Spidey and the good ol Mcfarlane Spidey thats still going for $80 to $100+ -_-
I have one but still....

The McFarlane Spidey always looks so damn skinny to me. I don't own one but I somehow don't feel the hole for not having him. Though he would look nice in my Spiderverse shelf.
The Figma Amazing Spider-Man was horrible because of the 'giant wheel joint' in the back of his knee. Shame, I've always liked the Amazing Spidey fit(minus the gold eyes).
Most of Toybiz's women are atrocious. I mean, even the masked ones like Spider-Woman... skinny and out of proportion(big hands!). But they were far more articulated. But I don't mind taking SOME articulation away for aesthetics... I still think of that Rogue and that Scarlet Witch Toybiz figure!
I'm sure more MMPR figures are bound to be released with the new movie coming out. As for me, I'm off to collect some DC figures from the Icons series. For sure I'm getting that X-Men Legends set; though I want to just grab the BAF Onslaught so I can have the "Magneto" helmet mounted on the guy. I don't like the Red Onslaught wave though so I might just skip on the figures and get the BAF.
Yeah owning two Hot Toys is a great feeling but I remember the hole in my wallet. LOL. Sideshow collectibles does have a 'monthly payment' which makes it affordable, but still. Great figures. Lots of dynamics and easy to get lost in the photoshoot... but fragile as heck, might I add.

I use to think that too of the mcfarlane spidey figure, but at the time, it was THE best spidey figure you could get in terms of the articulaton being there and with a spidey fig, thats important!
I never liked the ASM1 costume, but ASM 2 costume was killer! I got the Mafex figure of that. Cool figure, but diaphragm joint is too wobbly.
ToyBiz's women ARE atrocious! Thats why I cant wait till I get that Rogue figure from Hasbro to complete my Jim Lee Xmen "animated series" figure collection. I got the Toybiz rogue but her face is just UGH!! And I did a custom Jubilee with the BAF figure they released a year or 2 ago.
I got the onslaught wave BAF, but im waiting on the Magneto head too! I dont like red skull's ugly mug on that badass figure.
Me personally, I think about getting just the BAF parts of waves, but with how much they sell on Ebay, its like you might as well just get the figure in the store, cuz you get more for your money, IMO and the price seems alittle worth it even if you dont like the figure. And if you customize like me, you can use them for projects.
That new upcoming Xmen wave is a FULL wave cop! New deadpool, Iceman, Rogue, pheonix, kitty. Oh yea.

Indeed! Here's to hoping for a Domino, X-23, and Wolfsbane! I want my X-Force team!
I might actually JUST buy the entire Onslaught BAF completed. It's going for about $50 - 60 on eBay. Not a lot of the characters interest me aside from Mockingbird.

Yea I agree. I wasn't really impressed by this wave, but I KNEW I wanted Onslaught and I know for a fact how much JUST the BAF pieces(depending on the char) can cost on ebay, and most times, you might as well just get the figure with it. Your money will be more worth it.
Mockingbird has a new good sculpt on her, on my figure though, the glasses are kinda crooked. lol
But Taskmaster and Scourge figures are cool looking too. Plus the Scourge figure means more weapons and gear accessories for my Punisher figure
