Marvel Legends avengers endgame captain America figure.Good figure, Glad to own it.
Broken Shield is custom modded by myself.
I used the more soft plastic Cap America Shield from the Marvel Legend Captain America figure from his first movie. Its easier to cut and has the same accurate sculpt as the one that comes with the figure. Genius huh? B)
After that, I basically F'd it up. I tried to make the broken split/crack part as close to the actual movie's broken shield as I could. So its not just some random cut in half design.
Lastly, If you notice closely, The chain-mail design on my figure has been painted with a slightly metallic and brighter navy bluish color to distinguish it from blending in with the rest of the chest piece gloss like it came. I of curse did this pain app myself.
Now it somewhat resembles the promo pics where you see the chainmail look kinda like it has some sort of shine to it.
Turned out VERY well.

Nice custom on the shield. I swear, Hasbro has some great ideas and I'd say that they hit the mark 60-75%. But this action figure is a great example. They gave him a new chest (from what it seems) to fit the Endgame costume, fantastic! They reused other parts from Infinity War and previous MLs, make sense, I'm down for it. They gave him Mjolnir, that's fine totally what we needed... maybe some lightning effects or some shading on the hammer, maybe but it's fine. But the biggest missed opportunity was that shield!
But again, great custom. Definitely feels like a worthy Endgame Marvel Legends.

And Yea I agree completely. They should have included a broken shield. I mean they went and added a battle damaged one, just go the extra mile and create a broken shield.
I mean they did very well with the rest of this figure. Its a really good figure. But I seem to ALWAYS have to add something myself that they should have done... I mean they SHOW all the time that they CAN do things like that...but Hasbro gonna 'HASBRO'. lol

Thats very true. Although on SOME recent waves I can't tell...lol Still are some Crap waves every now and then and they put a GOOD Baf with a Crap wave.
I still got the She Hulk from that blob wave, lol
But I know they HAVE given us ALOT of gems, so ill take em....Hasbro still lazy though. lol
