Wow, its great to see so much thought has been put into a character design rather than just drawing it.
I really love the amount of effort you have put in thinking about the details, personality and even anatomy into creating this character. There is even a little personal symbol on the back of his head. Such a brilliant idea.
Please also ignore my ignorant if I have missed anything. This is something based on the sonic universe? If it is, this would really suited for the next Sonic game!! I would really love to see this come alive in the game and in action. Although can't say that I have too much knowledge of the sonic world, I appreciate your ideas of reverting the likes and dislikes of snakes and identified that this character is not just any snake. He is a special one. This fits with the exaggeration of the character like a cartoon should be.
One thing I see in the image you could consider making change to improve this is making the tongue bigger as it extends towards the page. This should bring more perspective into the image and gives a more 3d look.
Also the overall layout, don't get wrong its good, you might want to consider enlarging the main image without words and have the description shifted more towards the left so that the key image stands out from the page and makes it easier for the reader and watchers. But this is only a personal preference as I do see plenty professional character designs portrays their character as the way you have. But if you can find a way to make it more uniquely you, I think you might enjoy more out of this process.
Hope this helps.

Indeed, I have been adding lots of details and thought to him during his drafts.
It is, yes. Aww, you think so? I’m flattered to hear that x3
I see what you mean. I’ll keep that in thought if I decide to revamp my older references of my other boys. Thanks for your input!

Hello. I found your character through
First of, as a sonic fan myself, the style is more than just recognizable. Your noodleboy looks like he jumped out of a sonic episode while looking unique. The style is quite gentle and memorable through only using a few colors. The pose and expression are great and seem to fit his character.
For this character description, I find a few things odd. I do not know how realistic you wanted to stay with his design, but giving a snake the dislike of dirty grounds and water seems a bit weird to me. Most snakes move either on slightly rough and wet jungle ground or even the water or have adapted to move on hot sandy soil. Another odd point is describing him on the one side as being outgoing, social, and impulsive and on the other side as keeping to himself. You additionally described reading, sleeping, and creativity as his likes and described him as losing focus quickly. He seems to be a very contrasting character, which makes it difficult to understand his main characteristics and how they work together. I would find it helpful to have an example as to how his hyperactivity and reading/creativity traits go along.
One thing about the anatomy. Firstly, I like how you illustrated the change of his body when using his elasticity ability, but I am confused by the lengths you've written down. You wrote his tongue is around 2m long. If I got the measurements right, his head is around the size of a humans head. I have problems imagining how such a tong, which as being elastic must have a certain thickness, can fit in his mouth. On the point of heights; I was confused in the beginning, imagining his proportions. For fantasy character, it helps me to see a human silhouette beside the character to get his height, length, and width without having to work through the written down numbers.
Still a great character design with an obvious sonic flair.

Glad to hear it’s like he came right to life in the series’ universe.
The whole concept with dirty/muddy grounds is like to that of us humans walking on said terrain completely barefoot. Granted none of us would like the feeling of walking on it, granted it’d make our feet filthy afterwards too and such, heh. Plus, all of the official canon’s characters wear shoes as well, so just their shoes would get soiled, not actually themselves. It’s kinda like that, per sé, if that makes any sense?
The whole outgoing factor and hyperactivity is most notable when hanging around his peers, friends, etc. the whole “reserved” part is when he is usually alone, doing something by himself in his room, etc. probably should add that in his description, heh
Well with his tongue and such, it’s probably all just stored in the back of his head somewhere, idk. Or hammerspace even, lol XD. I just like to think because it’s all cartoony stuff, I feel not everything has to be 100% to scale and completely logical. Heck, my main character on here has a mere 60 ft tongue, if that makes any significant difference, heheh. XD
But I’m happy to hear you like his overall design and concept ^^

i like the naga aesthetic to a Sonic design!
also, i'm kinda curious now, do you think we or someone can apply the "Sergal" aesthetic towards a Sonic Design?

Howdy! I am LibitinaLamila from Project Comment and your deviation sparked my interest.
Starting off, your snakesona looks simple yet easy to look at. Yet it feels slightly bland. Probably because of the lack of some details like the nostrils and probably some scale waves here and there for additional detail. It's actually smart that you used the hood pads to be ear-like in appearance. Well, in short, it looks pretty furnished. Just tone down the text which scatters around and increases the text size for it to be readable in the first zoom.

I’m glad you like his design! And it was intentional that I have his hood act as his “ears”, yes

Is this for something Sonic related?
I see Sonic (or a Mouse) with a Snakes body.
If it's not sonic related, it doesn't make sense to me, as in not snake like enough.
The white makes me think of fur too, as I haven't seen many white snakes before.

I also have a little input, though my only suggestion was to remind you that he needs a pair of slits on his muzzle as he currently doesn't have any nostrils. Otherwise, I think this character is pretty cool. ^^

So this is great, but I noticed some things which make it a little hard for the eye to follow.
There is a lot of text. The information is great but takes away from the visuals and could be considerably cut down (I don't think complete sentences are necessary) which would help the overall flow.
Something I would also like to see more of is the actual character, maybe some in different poses (to show how he moves and such) or common facial expressions. You could even use visuals to help express some of the things you have written down (poses of him resting with his tail all bunched up).
Another thing I would suggest is adding flat shading. It would help to really push the fact that his tail is piled up behind him rather than somehow being squished to all be in the same plane. (I hope this makes sense x'D)
Anywho, that's all I have for you!

x'D I get that. Whenever I draw refs (just realised I've never posted one on DA...) I usually end up wanting to include an awful lot of text.
