I just watched Robocop (the remake) and actually enjoyed it, it seems a lot of people didn't like it, so what do you guys think? was it good? bad? did you hate it? was it ok? remember it's just my opinion, hope you guys like it and thanks for watchingRelated content

Fairly even match old has durability and new has manuverablility which old robocop already faced and beat with those ninja robots, so I have to go with classic not to mention the friggin spike that comes out of his hand. Classic also has no easy way to get to his skull, but one small hack and he could get the new ones face mask up and stab him through the eye. I just could not get around the PG-13 rating on the remake... give me all the real blood squibs none of that CGI garbage

I liked the remake/reboot as well. The remake had some interesting elements in it, like RoboCop being agile like a supersoldier.
From what I heard, that was the intention for classic RoboCop, but it couldn't be done due to the suit being heavy, so it was rewritten to fit classic RoboCop's tank-like movement. So I guess technically the new RoboCop used a scrapped idea from the classic era?

I didn't think it was terrible. Sure, it could've used some improvement, but it was good enough, in my opinion.

I thought it was good, but not great.Β Still, I liked it a lot.Β I like how they made 2K14 RoboCop much faster in comparison of classic RoboCop, who moved WAY too slow.Β What I didn't like is 2K14 RoboCop's all-black color scheme.Β They even had him mostly resembling the original RoboCop up to that point, and then they went and changed him.Β Also, the remake was fully intended to be R-rated, but the movie's producers made it PG-13 to try to get kids in to watch the film and make more money.

you know sinse i WANTED to give a chance to BOTH robocops I watched BOTH moveis IN LESS THAN A WEEK (including the secuels to the 1Β° one) and to be fair I LIKE THE OLD ONES
Β i mean at the begining of the "new one" i was like WHAT is this!? "a WHAT IF SKINET worked followed by fox news (and i am not american) and the robocop suit looked like the
t-800 and crisysΒ΄s suit LOVE CHILD.

Saw both the original and the remake. They are both very good and I like each of them equally. The remake added more to his character than the original. Nice job.

I like both movies, each one has its good and bad moments, the old one made me think and pulled me into the story while the new one was full of action and was enjoyable to watch.

I know how you feel, I saw the movie and I liked it, then there's the comparison between the original movie and the new movie, it's just the original left so much out of the plot that had some differences with the 2014 remake where the mother and the son were memories in the original, in the remake they played an important role for Robocop's life before and after he became who he is now as we used to know him
One thing I like in addition, was ED-209, where there were two of the same robot in the original, one that couldn't conquer stairs, and one that got its torso completely blown off in one shot by Robocop himself, in the remake, there were seven units of the robot in the movie, these guys are no pushover because they make the original ED-209 look like a wimp because it squealed liked a pig, if I had to choose between the two movies, I'll take the remake because it makes much more sense than the original.

They oth know how to make you feel robocop is a badass but at the same time he has his humanity which was highl emotional in both films

classic robocop is awesome,but once u take off the nostalgia glasses (which i alot of ppl would do that)...yeah. the remake pretty much has it. hands down

I liked the new movie because shows a lot more of realist about robots/robot-implants... it's quite different than
the original 1987's film. People should stop bitchin' about it. We see characters with same names, with similar history,
BUT it's not the "same" film. If this film is to be watched, people should go with the intention of entertainment, not to
judge.

If you like science, you will like the movie. It's pretty realistic with the robot prosthetics
There's stuff more realistic... except the CGI(action of course) and the "recovered right hand."
I do not see reason or possibility to leave the hand with so much damage... I'm impressed
he was not in pain.Β

I really liked it alot! especially when he takes not one but FOUR! (i think i counted Four) ED-209s!!
