Description Okay...this is a dumb entry for the contest Pandora123 is holding.... It's one of her characters with his gender altered... It's not so good.... I'm trying to practice bodies, but they don't turn out so well...

Some of you watchers are harsh critics so please be nice to me. I feel all discouraged...

The character Voodoo Bunny/Vincent belongs to Pandora123

P.S. The cat looks retarded

I think it's nice, and I kind of like seeing Vincent girly. The cat is definitely cute. ^^

I'd be embarrassed if I did. There are much more deserving contestants with cuter entries that could put those subscriptions to good use. But thank you anyways for liking mine. ^^

I looks good, you shouldn't be so harsh with your judgments, tbh i know he's skinny but some bigger chest cushions wouldn't go a miss to show that this character is defiantly a woman lol

I don't really see why that 'bleh' is necessary. I'm only trying to help.

I enjoy your line quality and shading--it's very interesting. However, I see a lot of problem with the weight of the body. Try drawing a spine guide first, and don't be afraid to erase and redraw. Don't keep a part that you know is wrong, just because you worked hard on it. I'd pull the head in closer to the body, or adjust the distribution of weight through the spine, torso, and legs. It's got potential, so don't get downhearted. :3
Drawing from reference can really help you out. Observe carefully and so forth. =]

Thanks! How does a spine guide work? I knew she'd fall over if she was really leaning that far forward on with her knees like that, but I wasn't really sure how to fix it... Can you explain?>.<

Thanks so much

Well, whenever you start a drawing, you draw the line of the spine through the head, torso, and to the hips. The spine determines the center of gravity, so by building off of that, weight can be achieved through the relationships of limbs to center. It's useful because it gives you a basic building guide, which is really useful when it gets to hips and shoulders, which are fairly difficult to get right. I'd suggest going through photographs and taking a red pen and drawing over them, following the curve of the spine. It helps to see how it all works that way. =]
Not a problem!
