Recently marathoned all of Transformers Animated, and now I'm hooked. In keeping with the series' aesthetic, here is The Fallen, the herald of Unicron. And he's on fire.Related content

BOOM! Man, this is an awesome design. A little "busy" for the Animated aesthetic, maybe, but still great. Definitely way better than the movie design, and I would say on par with the G1 form.

Holy crap o.o I wished they'd gotten into Unicron stuff in the cartoon. Too bad Hasbro had to be dicks like they usually are and pull the plug on the show before the creators could give a proper ending to the story.
Me's working on a Transformers Animated fic myself that involves Unicron and in the final chapters The Fallen (the REAL one, not the one from the movie) shows up, though he looks like he does originally, hasn't been modified to look like he fits with the Animated universe like he looks in this pic.

Well, word of its cancellarion first broke when CN fired certain staff members working on the show. Why would Hasbro cancel it? TFA was a huge success for them.

because not as many people watched it and because it seemed mainly to be meant as just a show to keep people preoccupied between the two live action movies.

Hasbro exists to make money. The Animated toys were selling extremely well. If they could have kept the line going, they would have instead of performing yet another reboot, which sets them back financially each time.

Great job! He doesn't look like he would quite fit in the show (not chintastic enough?), but I think you've come up with something pretty close if he ever decided to show up!

Made the basic shape in 3DS Max to help me draw it in perspective. Yes, I did design it with a practical transformation in mind, but I don't plan on making it anytime soon.
