Description
*Aeires here. I decided to make a tut from Graffiti [link] . This requires a basic understanding of masking and will show how to create a basic shape in the image, texture it, then texture the background separately. By using different textures on the shape and background, more complex images can be used.Hope this helps you out with textures and masks.

Awesome!
I've been looking all over for a tut just like this.
Thanks so much!

This tut is a big help. As in "Invert? Now that I've been pushing points and rotating masks until I'm 1/2 nuts(now both 1/2s are nuts -- at least my sides match ) I find out there is an invert?" aaaargh!

Hopefully I'll be able to throw another one together that covers gradient tricks. Have to see how the next couple of weeks go.

Actually this one was something that has been needed for a while! It was very clear, and well written...demystified a very important factor in UF!
Looking forward to your tut on gradient tricks. Have discovered one or 2 on my own just fiddling, ones that I was surprised at how simple they were, and yet they made a large difference.

Thanks. There was more I wanted to show but it was getting too big. Going to try and work on a different one that covers more of gradient tricks if I can make some time for it.
You guys handling the group has helped me get back into the teaching side of UF with tuts. Really appreciate your help.
