To be honest I don't remember what I had in mind at this point, other than being closer to videogames thematically and giving it much more of a grungy look
than the somewhat sterile adaptation had. More rust, grease, granite and space. Maybe I should follow up a bit?..

I'd love to see where you'd take this in further images or just even conceptually. 

Also, this image really helps me appreciate the scale of Phobos. I hadn't realize Stickney was that big.

I'll try throw together a few quick sketches and see what happens. A lot of these oldies are due for a followup...
And yep, Phobos is pretty large compared to anything man-made - Stickney itself is 9 kilometers across, so if anything the base's scale was a tad on the optimistic side.

Quite right, it's bigger than it's given credit for, Doom itself doesn't really lend credence to it's size given the rather abstract intermission screen. 

A couple of ideas, if you don't mind me throwing them your way, but i'd love to see your take on interiors of this base structure, maybe even some contrasts with the demonic influences/infestations? Just a couple of ideas.
