Description
The Conundrum! Maybe I'm the only one that does not understand how Ōkami works; is there some kind of space bending nonsense at work here? You tell me!Edit: I do know how it is unsheathed; I was simply throwing the idea out there so people that did not would think about it. ;D

The sword is attached to a sheath on his back with a slot to allow him to draw the sword without straining his arm due to its long length.

Maybe it's in a similar fashion to how Link unseathes his sword. The sword goes through the scabbard.

The anime showed floating like ghost liquid... but who cares, how did he do it before that explanation!? >:/

Silly Hakumen, if he remembered from the Anime Movie, he's able to unsheathe his sword by phasing the blade through the sheath. Silly Hakumen.

I think there is a piece of the sheath that has an opening for making drawing it and putting it away easier.
That or it just behaves like Raiden's awesome sword sheath.

There is a slot on the side like most backbound longswords. The sword enters the slot and the sword can be drawn upwards as apposed to out of the sheath's mouth.

It's just like how people don't know about Phase 0 and and the other BlazBlue novels, not to mention the BlazBlue manga and the prequel game in the BlazBlue series. People tend to just play the game and the story and depth of characters is lost on them.

Yep. BlazBlue: Remix Heart. It is wrote by Toshimichi Mori, producer of BlazBlue, and is all about the academy life.

... I know this was probably meant for humor, but...
This is probably why I kind of hate Terumi.
All of them are too hyping his trolling tendencies that they feel the need to answer to everything he asked and said. It's like the universe was bent like there shall never be 'How not to feed the troll' guideline. If I was Hakumen himself, before the last panel I wouldn't even grace Terumi with an answer, I'll just give my usual "I've had enough of your disingenuous assertions!" and slash slash slash slash until he dies. Yeah, it will be less funny... but damn it, shutting Terumi up for all his bullcraps and making his trolling useless is catharsis to me, I can't help it!
A-anyway, great job and good to see you back.

I've always thought there was a slot to the side of the sheathe and he simply turns the sword slightly and takes the whole blade out through the slot.

The sword is attached to the sheath, and the way its slotted allows him to draw Ookami, and obliterate evil, without causing strain.
I read his wiki a while back.

I was sure that was the case, but I enjoy pointing these things out to mess with people that did not think about the facts and ideas of sword use. ;D
