ADVENTURE TIME FAN ART! Love the feels of this show. Also, the show contains some pretty awesome landscapes that I've tried to recreate here in less cartoonish detail. Three techniques here have been used to start each one off including sketching, photo plate and sheer paint blabbering.

Started of with using a messy brush to block in the main shapes and ideas. I thought the work was unacceptable at first due to the messiness and the colours not working well, but it turned out ok. This location is the City of Thieves where the thief population sits on a deceased turtle's shell. This work was mostly brushwork but was supported with textures and noise. Tried a tad of epic lighting to give it the spirit of adventure. The skeleton and smoke, elements of doom and gloom, suggests the imminent dangers of approaching the City of Thieves.
